Biography

Salah Muhumed is cinematographer and photographer specializing in cinematic documentary storytelling.

With international experience across the U.S.A, Kenya, and Ethiopia, Salah works on everything that involves visual storytelling including high-end documentaries, narrative films, branded content, and commercials, but is perhaps best known for his naturalistic cinematography and a story-driven directing style grounded in his cinema vérité roots. 

His video & stills clients include Al Jazeera, HOKA, the State of Oregon, WestCoastXC, the University of Oregon, and Portland State University. Salah has also partnered extensively with non-profit organizations such as Yaqeen Institute, Human Development Fund, and the African Youth & Community Organization.
